3. Subversive - internal destruction of the political regime in Ukraine, which with a high degree of probability will complicate the conduct of war by Ukraine.

At the moment, the dominant trends are towards the implementation of an inertial scenario, when the current situation will be extended over time without fundamental changes. It is worth remembering that as we get closer to the presidential elections in Russia, Moscow will be much less interested in making drastic or risky steps in the Donbass. On the other hand, precisely for this reason, opponents may try to shake up the situation before the elections in order to create additional external difficulties for the Kremlin. Of course, reverse scenarios are also possible, when instability in Ukraine for objective reasons will provide a qualitative change in the situation, but even there events so far do not go beyond the limits of the inertial scenario, where Poroshenko, with the support of the United States, remains in power, which means the war will continue.

So, generally speaking, there will be no peace or massacre in the coming months, but the war will continue.”

And this attitude is observed not only on the part of ordinary (and not so ordinary) Ukrainian militants, but also on the part of the so-called. “Ukrainian state”, which treats the occupied territories in an obviously predatory manner -

What prevented local officials from preventing law-abiding citizens from acquiring illegally allocated land? Why did none of the deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the city of Russian glory “trumpet” that transactions in the zone of the future protected area are illegal? This is not a rhetorical question. This is a question of the responsibility of those in power.

For many decades in a row, Laspi was a favorite vacation spot for Sevastopol residents. Every summer, pioneer camps and numerous bases of city enterprises and organizations opened here. The wild development of the tract causes a sharply negative attitude from the townspeople. Today, social networks are full of outraged responses. The public is convinced that the approval of the status of a specially protected natural area is openly sabotaged by order of large developers who are still selling apartments there. Just look at the characteristic personalities in the list of owners. And in a year, without noise and dust, the businessmen will change the permitted type of use to “residential and public development” - and without asking anyone.

The State Duma’s amendment of June 22, 2016, which allows economic activity in nature reserves, suddenly surfaced in the legal “graters” of the tract. For example, deputy Joseph Kobzon advocated for the transfer of protected land into private hands. More specifically, it is now allowed to create territories within natural reserves where economic activities can be conducted, resorts can be built, etc. The so-called “forest amnesty” is also, in fact, a cover for the development of forest lands.

Even during the tenure of Governor-Admiral Sergei Menyailo, the regional headquarters of the All-Russian Popular Front created a special commission that identified all of Laspi’s plots of land and reported them to the city government. The commission discovered fake orders from the state administration and outright theft of land.

Sevastopol “front-line soldiers” tried to ensure that this land was not included in the Russian cadastre. Vladimir Putin is considered the founder and leader of the ONF, and therefore it seemed that the reaction of the authorities should follow immediately. However, the chaos with the gold coast continued as if nothing had happened! Admiral Menyailo was removed from his post more than a year ago, and the mining of the unique tract was only gaining momentum.

Explanations can be very different. The fact is that the newly elected governor of Sevastopol, Dmitry Ovsyannikov, has still not approved the status of the protected area of ​​the Laspi tract. Another curious question: why did Crimea transfer forest lands into federal ownership, and the Sevastopol government everywhere issued the status of populated area lands, which actually legalized the sale?

In 2014–2016, Elena Pavlyuk was a volunteer as part of the National Bolshevik* expeditionary force in the LPR, then moved to the DPR. - Do you see changes in Donbass between 14–15 and 17? What has changed for the better and for the worse?

I am a patriot of Donbass, I still have a piece of my heart there. I sometimes visit the Republics, not everything is bad there, but not everything is good either. Not a single state was built at the snap of a finger - it waved, and grace came on earth. There is no need to demand “online paradise” from the sofa from the young Republics, because you want it that way.

Donbass has two options - either to be pro-Russian or to be pro-Ukrainian, and these are the only two factors that are worthy of discussion. As we see, the Republics are still drawn to Russia, and not to Kyiv.

- Who are the guys who serve in the battalion of your fellow party member Zakhar Prilepin? Tell us about them.

Well, at the moment they are, of course, fighters. Battalion and battalion, they are not alone. I’m simply not a fan of discussing “whose battalion is more battalion-heavy than anyone else in the world,” and I don’t advise others to do so.

I don’t know everyone, but the ones I know are good guys, among them are National Bolsheviks, and some specifics are for those who are sitting there, I pass here. Moreover, what difference does it make to me, as a member of the Union of Donbass Volunteers, which wounded person from the DPR to visit - a stranger from Prilepin’s battalion, a stranger from Pyatnashka, or from the LPR? No.

- You are a National Bolshevik, why then did you decide to join the SDD? Aren't you afraid of accusations that you sold out to the Kremlin and Surkov?

The Union of Donbass Volunteers is not a political organization, but a public one; politically, we all have different views. And the Union is engaged daily not in the manifestation of any demands, but in clear deeds.

There is a problem - a specific wounded volunteer who does not have a leg, which means we will make him a prosthesis. There is a deceased volunteer - he does not have a monument on his grave. So, let's erect a worthy monument to him.

Pickets, rallies and actions against, for example, social inequality, usually declare a “struggle for justice.” But excuse me, when a volunteer who went from his conditional Voronezh to defend the Russian World, after being wounded, does not have enough money for a prosthesis - this is also an injustice, and it needs to be eliminated, and we are doing this.

There is nothing special about being a volunteer in the volunteer movement; I shouldn’t join Greenpeace after the war. There is also a moral underpinning.

I once joked that you can change a leaflet to a rifle, but it’s very difficult to change back. I was joking. War never lets go until the end. Even if you are not physically running around with a machine gun somewhere out there, protecting civilians, you can do some other kind of help.

To go to a public organization that does good deeds for soldiers and their families - this, thanks to fate, was very “on topic” and appealed to my emotional experiences.

- What impressed you at the III Congress of the SDD? How do you like Surkov, by the way?

The SDD has a status of this level, which means that persons from the top leadership of any country can attend any of our events. Therefore, I was not surprised by either Surkov or Zakharchenko. Those who insist that Putin leaked everything should have been impressed, because a logical inconsistency clearly arises - how can the authorities of two states (either in the person of Surkov, or in the person of Zakharchenko, and being in Russia) simultaneously leak the LDPR, but open monuments side by side? to the heroes of Donbass in Rostov-on-Don.

However, a bad head will always find justifications; some even believe in reptilians. We as an organization are open to everyone, we have nothing to hide. I accredited for the events that we had (III Congress + opening of the monument), at the same time, the Dozhd TV channel, the BBC Russian Service, as well as the local Cossack News and Donbass media.

The piece of paper on which they were written side by side, all together, did not burst into flames, and lightning did not strike from above. Imagine, this is possible. But I cannot imagine the opposite situation - when some militia with cameras is allowed to attend a liberal or pro-Ukrainian event.

Russia has open enemies, no one is mistaken, but, as we see, there are also defenders, and for me this, including those who were in Rostov at the events, is part of our defenders.

After returning from Donbass, do you communicate with the leader of the party, Limonov? If so, how is the communication going? What are you talking about?

I think everything I ever wanted to tell him, I've already said. So, today I have nothing to talk to him about. The party has taken a position - to remove Donbass from the agenda, but behind me, somewhere nearby, the evil shadow of war looms, and with it, every day, its grief and difficulties.

So he deals with his demons, and I deal with mine.

Let it be so, to each his own. Every time I leave Donbass, my soul still remains there. I’m glad that in the SDD I’m no longer afraid for Donbass. We have taken on colossal tasks on our shoulders, and, to the best of our ability, we strive to fulfill them. Everything is ahead.

S.B.: This is, for example, the development of methods for treating various diseases. Doctors select medications for a patient based on a number of indicators and then see whether the result is successful or not. There are methods for monitoring the results of treatment by changing the functioning of genes. They are used, for example, in oncology. If the medicine works, then the work of the genes changes in one way, if it doesn’t work, then in another. Based on genes, the result can be seen much faster than based on changes in the patient’s well-being. But to do this, we must first find out which genes work and which are turned off under different therapy scenarios.
There is very interesting research in the field of discovery of genes associated with the development of diseases. A scientist in St. Petersburg discovered that when a woman had breast cancer, the functioning of genes that were known for another disease was disrupted. The scientist used a medicine designed to combat this disease, and it had an effect. This was real research work. To discover new properties of already known drugs, it is necessary to conduct research on healthy and sick people. In addition, medical genetics is developing in our country, which studies hereditary diseases. With its help, prenatal diagnosis is possible. S.B.: This is fantastic. What is shown in science fiction films is unattainable at all or in the foreseeable future. It is impossible to breed any aggressive soldiers at the genetic level for one simple reason. It's about behavior management. The genes that control behavior are partially known, but not all. But the fact is known that there is not a single gene, if changed, a person will become an aggressive soldier. It is clear that if some genes fall out, he may become an idiot or not be born at all. It is impossible to change a person’s genome to make him smarter or more obedient. First, there are many genes with weak effects. Secondly, the realization of the effects depends on the person’s upbringing.
Here is a simple example using ants. Genetic relatives, children of the same mother, live in an anthill. But they look very different. Small worker ants, soldier ants, and in some species, honey barrel ants, whose abdomen has turned into a storage facility for liquid food. And finally, the largest individual is the queen, the only female that gives birth. And all these differences in size, shape and behavior appear not due to the fact that they have different genes, but because nurse ants “raise” them differently, giving them different food.
It is unlikely that anyone will doubt that in humans, upbringing plays a much larger role than in ants. If we engage in brainwashing with all sorts of nonsense, we will get idiots much faster than with genetic manipulation.
OPINION: At what pace is genetic engineering developing in the world?
S.B.: The United States is the leader in this area. Maximum funding for science is provided there. European countries also perform quite well. This can be seen in the awarding of Nobel Prizes. China is actively catching up with the United States. There are now huge instrument capacities there, comparable to other world centers. Just 10–15 years ago, China was just beginning this process. They are actively developing science there, they invite Chinese people working abroad, and create excellent conditions for them for scientific research. In China we can indeed expect strong progress.
VZGLYAD: What are Russia’s successes here?
S. B.: Russia looks very decent where the instrumentation base, that is, the most expensive part of science, is not so important.
OPINION: What is currently at the peak of world science in the field of genetic engineering?
S.B.: There is such a field as bioinformatics or computer genomics. Genetic research produces a lot of experimental data – big data. This data helps identify patterns. The text of the human genome consists of three billion letters. Now we are talking about studying tens of thousands of human genomes. This data takes up a lot of space on the computer. Developing methods for computer analysis of obtained experimental data is the peak of world science.
OPINION: Which Russian scientist has achieved the most notable achievements in genetic engineering?
S. B.: Among the ten most influential biologists in the world is Evgeniy Kunin, who now works in America, but defended his dissertation in Moscow. A significant proportion of scientists in the field of bioinformatics come from Russia. They cannot work here, because the young scientist has nowhere to live, nothing to support his family, and the prospects are unclear. Therefore, they go to places where they pay well and create working conditions. We have a lot of obstacles, for example, when purchasing equipment. Scientists want to work, not fight the administrative system. To put it mildly, this is pushing Russia into the far corner. That is, China and America will develop, but Russia will not, although it could.
OPINION: Is there progress in cloning? After all, this is the first thing that comes to mind when talking about genetic engineering.
S.B.: There are two types of cloning. The first is cloning DNA fragments. It is actively used all over the world in scientific research. That is, the desired gene is cut out. For example, there is a medicine called interferon against viral infections. Previously, it was obtained from donor blood, but now from bacteria that were injected with a human gene. These bacteria produce human protein that is completely unnecessary for them. It is highly purified and is sold in pharmacies. This is the result of cloning a human gene into bacteria.
The other cloning option you are referring to is cloning organisms. The first officially known case of cloning was Dolly the sheep. Then, from a cell of an adult organism, an organism identical to it was obtained. Such research is developing. Human cloning is still prohibited.
