How long does it take to grow? How quickly does hair grow and is it possible to speed up the process? The secrets of beautiful hair are:

The question of finding an effective method to increase height worries a huge number of people. This is especially true for the use of various supplements containing calcium and hanging on sports equipment such as a horizontal bar.

The formation of height, according to scientists, is 80-85% dependent on genetic indicators such as gender and race, and external factors, that is, an adequate level of nutrition and exercise, influence this process by only 15-20%. If we summarize these data, it becomes clear that exactly nature determines how tall a person will be.

Adults can radically change their height only through complex surgery. Neither a special diet nor hanging on a horizontal bar will help here. There are some exercises, mainly from yoga, a certain approach to the selection of wardrobe items that allow you to visually appear somewhat taller.

How is a child's height calculated?

The formula involves summing the height in centimeters of both parents and dividing by two. The number “13” is added to the resulting value if the calculation is made for a boy, or subtracted when the calculation is made for a girl. The result will be the height of the child when he grows up, with an accuracy of 80% and an error of 5 cm up or down.

There are statistics on average height for men by geographic location. In Russia it is 175-177, in Europe - 176, in Latin America - 170, in China and a number of Asian countries - 167, in India - 164 cm.

How to become 10 cm taller?

This question is relevant for adolescents when puberty has not yet completed, that is, the growth zones have not yet closed. If during this period you start stretching, hanging on a horizontal bar or swimming regularly, which is especially effective, you can achieve an increase in height.

Strength training, unlike the listed physical activity, has the opposite effect. Vertical load, typical for exercises with dumbbells or barbells, significantly inhibits bone growth. Testosterone plays an important role, the increased production of which contributes to the growth zones closing earlier.

Diet to increase height

Factors such as insufficient caloric intake and protein deficiency can slow down the processes of natural growth in childhood. South Korean men are about 7 centimeters taller than North Koreans. The reason for this, as you might guess, was the lack of vitamins and constant malnutrition in the latter.

Only a balanced diet can realize the growth potential inherent in a child. The diet should include vegetables, cereals, mineral-rich cereals - buckwheat, lentils, oatmeal. It is important that the menu includes sea fish, which is a source of iodine and omega-3 fatty acids.

Dependence of growth on special additives

There are components whose consumption is critical for the growth of every child in the first years of life. This is zinc with vitamin D. However, taking these substances with food or as supplements does not have the same effect on the adult body.

The role of calcium, which has long been considered an essential element for a growing organism, has not been confirmed. Recent studies have shown that it does not improve bone health in adults.

How can an adult become taller?

Growth hormones, given by injection, are prescribed only during adolescence. They are prescribed by a specialist and act on the bones, promoting their stretching. This technique is not suitable for adults, since the growth zones are closed. The only option left is surgery to stretch the bones.

This is a rather painful operation when staples with wires are inserted into the upper bone layer of each leg. Pulling is carried out using a threaded rod, which is moved apart by 0.25 mm four times a day. As a result, a person becomes 6-7 cm taller, but this is achieved only in a year, most of which he has to walk on crutches.

If the horizontal bar and swimming cannot help an adult become taller, then straightening the spine and improving posture from doing some yoga exercises allows you to stretch 5 cm.

When you have to put up with growth, it is important to choose the right wardrobe. A dark bottom with a light top, a V-neck, and a gel-lifted hairstyle is a look that makes you appear taller.

Conclusion

Proper nutrition and non-strength sports help children and teenagers grow taller. For an adult, they are replaced by yoga and some tricks in selecting clothing items and a competent combination of shades.

Thick, long eyelashes with an expressive curve have always been in fashion. And if in past centuries correcting naturally short and sparse hairs was the ultimate dream, today this is no longer a problem. All you need to do is resort to the extension procedure: the eyelashes will immediately acquire the desired length, curl and volume. However, after wearing such a spectacular decor for some time, sooner or later you still have to say goodbye to it, and here, perhaps, a rather unpleasant moment will “pop up”. After extensions, your own eyelashes will begin to fall out more rapidly, and their growth will slow down significantly. In this case, it is necessary to urgently begin to take recovery measures. But first, it’s worth figuring out how long hairs take to grow and whether this process can be accelerated.

Scientists have calculated that the number of eyelashes on the upper eyelid is approximately 160-250. They fit there due to the fact that they grow not in 1-2 rows, like the lower hairs, but in 3 or 4. With proper care throughout a person’s life, their number does not decrease, since with the loss of one eyelash, it begins to grow in its place another, and so on all the time. To understand how long it takes for an eyelash to grow back, you should know about its life cycle, which is divided into 3 stages:

1. active development phase – lasts 3-6 weeks; the growth rate at this time is the maximum and is 0.12-0.15 mm per day;

2. transition phase – lasts, as a rule, no more than 5-7 days; during this time, the growth of the eyelash slows down significantly, and its follicle decreases;

3. resting phase – lasts longer than all stages (approximately 70-100 days) and ends at the moment of hair loss (rejection); At this stage, eyelashes do not grow perfectly.

Thus, the life cycle of one eyelash is about 100-150 days, provided that it fell out naturally. There is no doubt that a new hair will grow in its place. However, if it was “forcibly” pulled out, for example, during aggressive removal of the extension, then full growth may take much longer.

Of course, extensions are not the only reason why eyelashes grow more slowly. The following can also significantly reduce their growth rate:

  • harmful environmental factors;
  • certain pathologies of internal organs;
  • poor nutrition, especially in combination with smoking and alcohol;
  • systematic psycho-emotional stress;
  • improper, insufficient care or, even worse, its complete absence;
  • the use of low-quality decorative cosmetics (this means not only mascara, but also eye shadow, pencils, eyeliner);
  • Frequent curling of eyelashes with curling iron.

In order to return the hairs to their previous growth rate, and perhaps even significantly accelerate it, thereby increasing the length of the eyelashes by 20-30%, you need to properly care for them, using intensive therapy at first.

How can you speed up eyelash growth?

If it turns out that after extensions, the fallen eyelashes do not grow for a long time or grow very slowly, you can try the following ways to accelerate their growth and activate dormant bulbs:

  • application of professional products;
  • treatment with oils;
  • vitamin therapy.

Professional eyelash growth activators today are produced not only in various forms (gel, serum, cream, oily liquid), but also by different brands. Each of them has its own unique formula, due to which the hair follicles are better nourished, and, consequently, the eyelashes become stronger and their life expectancy increases. In addition, many manufacturers claim that the drugs they create can awaken dormant bulbs after hair loss and even prolong the active phase of eyelash growth, causing them to grow much longer. Of course, in reality this is not always true, and therefore we will list only those means that have proven themselves only on the positive side:

  • Almea Xlash;
  • Careprost;
  • Alerana;
  • MaxiLash;
  • Latisse;
  • RapidLash;
  • Lipocils gel Talika;
  • LashTrick;
  • Twist Fusion.

In order for eyelashes to grow well, it is important to systematically nourish them with vegetable oils: peach, olive, almond, sea buckthorn, linseed. But, according to reviews, the best in this case is still castor. It, containing many vitamins and fatty acids, perfectly strengthens the eyelashes, renews the growth of even dormant bulbs, and, by gluing together the scales that are present on the hairs, makes them smoother, shiny and without the effect of sticking together.

It is recommended to use castor oil before bed, applying it using a clean cosmetic applicator or a cotton swab along the hairline. There is no need to overdo it with the amount of product (there is a risk of waking up the next morning with swollen eyes), so it is better to remove all excess, for example, by absorbing it with a paper napkin.

As for useful substances, they are always necessary, and even more so after eyelash extensions. Vitamins such as A (retinol), B1 (thiamine), B2 (riboflavin), B12 (cyanocobalamin), E (tocopherol) and C (ascorbic acid) are especially important for stimulating hair growth. You can saturate your body with them by consuming more seafood, legumes, cereals, milk, nuts, herbs and, naturally, fruits, berries (especially rose hips) and vegetables. But it is also good to purchase vitamins in tablets/capsules and consume them orally, or even better in liquid form for external use, that is, applying the composition to the skin of the eyelids and the eyelashes themselves.

How to restore eyelashes after extensions?

Regardless of how long eyelashes grow after extensions, they usually don’t look their best. How bad it is, of course, depends on many factors: the professionalism of the technician, proper care, following recommendations, how and with what help the artificial fibers were removed. To restore the previous condition, and at the same time the appearance of the hairs, you can resort to the means described above: professional activators (often their composition has healing properties), the same vegetable oils and vitamins. But it is also possible to use folk methods:

1. Herbal compress.

If after eyelash extensions your eyelashes are so depressed that they become thin, brittle and lifeless, then a herbal compress prepared according to this recipe will help eliminate all these problems. It should be done by pouring a glass of boiling water into 1 tablespoon (or 1 herbal packet) of a collection of the following herbs: cornflower, calendula, chamomile, thyme, sage. After half an hour of infusion, the product, as expected, must be filtered. It is better to apply it to closed eyes (for 5-7 minutes) after it has cooled, “armed” with cotton pads.

2. Mask with aloe juice.

This mask is good to use both after eyelash extensions to restore them, and as a preventative measure. It is incredibly simple to prepare: you just need to mix chopped parsley with aloe juice squeezed from an aloe leaf in a 3:1 ratio. It is better to apply the composition to the eyelashes while lying down to avoid it spreading over the face. Leave the mask on your eyes for a quarter of an hour.

Today we will answer questions that concern many: how much does hair grow in a year, what affects this process and how to grow hair in six months or a year?

How does hair grow?

Each hair passes through during its life 3 growth phases:

  • Growth phase– the birth of a new hair follicle. While in this phase, it is constantly growing. Continuous growth can continue from 2 to 5 years.
  • Rest phase– growth gradually slows down, and eventually stops growing altogether. This is the shortest phase and lasts only 2-3 weeks.
  • Dropout phase– lasts about 3 months. New hair begins to grow, and the old one falls out.

What factors influence the rate of regrowth?

This process can be influenced by many factors:

  • season;
  • time of day;
  • individual characteristics person;
  • heredity;
  • proper care or lack thereof;
  • coloring or perm;
  • age;
  • nutrition.

Curls grow faster in spring and summer. This happens because, due to heat, blood flow to the head increases, and cell division occurs more intensely.

In winter, on the contrary, blood circulation slows down in the upper layer of skin, which makes the strands grow more slowly. Average indicators indicate that in the warm season, hair grows 15–20% faster than in winter.

Proper nutrition- means a lot. Those who want to grow a long braid should add this to their diet. more protein foods and do not forget about the correct selection vitamins.

You should avoid eating salty, smoked, fried, fatty foods altogether. However, this will have a positive effect not only on the growth of curls, but also on overall health.

IMPORTANT! The use of chemical compounds for coloring and curling slows down the growth of curls. If you frequently use this type of product, you may completely lose the opportunity to have beautiful and healthy curls.

Of course, it plays an important role heredity and individual characteristics person. Some people's locks grow rapidly, all they have to do is trim them, while others only dream of a chic waist-length braid.

8 golden rules for how to grow hair quickly?

If you follow these simple rules, within a few months the condition of your scalp and hair will improve significantly. The curls will begin to grow faster and a beautiful shine will appear.

  1. Health, beauty and, accordingly, hair growth directly depend on the condition of the body as a whole. Therefore, in order for curls to start growing, you need to be healthy! And for this you need to eat right, exercise, avoid stress, regularly visit a gynecologist (chronic gynecological diseases directly affect the condition of the hair).
  2. Frequently washing your hair with shampoo makes your strands brittle and brittle over time. The best option is to wash your hair 2-3 times a week.. In this case, apply the main part of the shampoo to the scalp, the rest of the product to the hair.
  3. Hair dryer, curling iron, straightening iron, hot rollers are the enemies of healthy, long curls. It is better to use these devices as little as possible.
  4. Costs refuse coloring and other chemical effects on curls. If you still have to dye your hair regularly, choose safe dyes with a minimum amount of harmful substances.
  5. UV protection for hair– an important nuance that is often forgotten. But harmful ultraviolet radiation can cause significant damage to shiny strands, depriving them of shine and vitality. Use a solarium to a minimum, and when leaving the house on a sunny day, do not forget about a hat.
  6. Regular scalp massage with growth activating oils will help you quickly grow gorgeous hair. Burdock, olive or coconut oil are suitable for this procedure. For greater effect, use slightly warmed oil.
  7. How can use less various hairpins and elastic bands and other hair accessories. Give freedom to your curls.
  8. Drink. Consult your doctor about which supplement is best for you.

REFERENCE! How many cm does hair grow in a year? On average, a person's hair grows 10–20 cm per year. With the right approach, you can achieve an increase in hair length by 15–20 cm in six months and up to 30 cm in a year.

Do mushrooms grow fast?

How many days does it take for a mushroom to grow?

How long after the cut does it take to arrive at the same place?

  1. Polsovitsa is something like this: “Like mushrooms after rain” (very quickly) or “grows like a mushroom.”
  2. Most mushrooms grow to medium size in 3-5 days and continue to grow for 10-15 days. During the day, the diameter of the cap increases by 1 - 1.5 cm.

    The white one grows the slowest, but its mass increases the fastest per day. That's why it's so strong and heavy. Chanterelles and honey mushrooms grow more slowly than tubular ones. Veselka grows the fastest. In an hour - 30 cm. And exotic ones can grow in 2 hours - half a meter

    Both at night and during the day, they grow equally. Growth is affected by temperature and humidity. They do not like heat and excessive humidity. Better warm than cold. They grow faster after quiet rains and fog.

  3. 1-2 days...if someone doesn’t cut them off before you!)))))
  4. There is a saying: they grow like mushrooms after rain! Come to the same place after the rain the next day if others don't come earlier!! Just don’t disturb the mycelium!
  5. At the speed of sound!.. Well, oh-oh-very fast!..
  6. They can do it in a few hours.

How long do porcini mushrooms grow, where to find and how to store porcini mushrooms?

Many mushroom pickers are interested in questions such as: how long do porcini mushrooms (boletus mushrooms) grow, where exactly in the forest they can be found, and how to store already collected porcini mushrooms.

How long do they grow

It is known that mushrooms grow very quickly, in 3 to 5 days. White ones grow slower, they mature in 6–9 days, but they gain weight the fastest. Already on the fourth day of growth, the white mushroom weighs 150-200 grams, while others do not exceed 80 grams. How long boletus mushrooms will grow largely depends on the environment; the more favorable the conditions (more about the characteristics of mushroom growth), the faster their growth will be. So, for example, in summer they grow in 5–9 days, and in October in 9–15. The main season for them begins at the end of July and continues until the end of September.

Where and how to find

The porcini mushroom loves to “play hide and seek” and sometimes you need a lot of patience and a keen eye to find it. Here are some tips on where to find them:

  1. The first thing to do in search of this mushroom is to go to open glades, forest edges and slopes of ravines. As you know, they often appear from damaged myceliums, which is why they can often be found where cattle grazed or along the side of forest paths.

  2. Large porcini mushrooms are easiest to find in pine forests and spruce forests; smaller porcini mushrooms are found in birch forests or other deciduous forests.
  3. You can look for boletus in the heather or lingonberry; if you see a ravine in front of you, you don’t even have to try to find something.
  4. If you see red fly agaric, mynika, heather, whiteberry or blueberry nearby, then, most likely, porcini mushrooms grow here; the most sure sign is the presence of valua. You should not try to find porcini mushrooms in a dense overgrown forest or damp lowlands.
  5. If you went mushroom hunting in the fall and found one porcini mushroom, then there will be several more of its brothers nearby. It is worth remembering that it is better to collect them when their cap is a little more than 4 centimeters in diameter.

How to store

How to preserve what was found with such hard work? After all, this is a very perishable product. It is almost impossible to store porcini mushrooms raw. If they are not processed immediately, then overnight they will lose almost their useful properties. First of all, you need to thoroughly clean, trim the legs and remove damaged areas.

  • dry
  • to freeze
  • pickle
  • marinate

Mushrooms must be dried at a temperature of 40-45 degrees, then increased to 70-75 degrees. After drying, place them in tight bags or jars; thus, it is not advisable to store boletus mushrooms for more than a year. Before freezing, you should wash the mushrooms, put them in boiling water for five minutes, then cool and put them in the freezer in small bags, so the white ones can be stored for several years.

There are many recipes for salting and marinating porcini mushrooms. You can pickle cold or hot. The most traditional is the cold method. Some recipes can be found here.

A huge number of people in our country are big fans of not only salting and pickling, but also picking mushrooms. Many mushroom pickers are interested in the question of how long a mushroom grows.

The growth of mushrooms directly depends on a number of factors. One of the most important is temperature. The optimal temperature for most types of mushrooms is from 18 to 27 degrees C. Mushrooms such as champignons grow well in the dark, but meadow mushrooms need sunlight. Edible mushrooms most often prefer slightly acidic soils. Mushrooms grow quite quickly. In just 3-6 days they reach medium size. Mushrooms become large in 8-12 days. Many of the mushrooms do not stop growing during this period.

The mushroom grows in size most quickly in the first days. For example, boletus grows by 1.5 centimeters per day. Mushroom caps take two days longer to grow than stems. The cap grows along the edge and can grow together with other mushrooms. Insects often slow down the growth of the fungus. Warm and rainy weather is optimal for mushroom growth.

The average weight of a regular mushroom is approximately 200 grams.

In warm summer weather, after the formation of spores, mushrooms age very quickly. In autumn, this process slows down, and the mushrooms remain firm longer.

Mushrooms really grow very quickly. Faster than all the food plants we know: - vegetables, fruits, berries.

Most mushrooms grow to medium size in 3-5 days and continue to grow for 10-15 days; the diameter of the cap and the height of the mushroom increase by 1-1.5 cm per day.

The white mushroom grows the slowest, but its weight increase in 1 day is the largest. So, if aspen mushroom on the fourth day has a mass of 74 g, and russula 12 g, then the white mushroom weighs 160 g. In general, tubular mushrooms grow relatively quickly, and honey mushrooms and chanterelles are slower.

The common mushroom, or stinking morel, is particularly fast growing: in 1 hour a mushroom with a cap and a stem about 30 cm high grows. In South America there are mushrooms that grow literally before our eyes: in just 2 hours they reach half a meter in height. Mushrooms grow both at night and during the day at the same speed.

To a decisive extent, the growth rate of fungi depends on the temperature and humidity of the soil and air. The most favorable temperature in the forest is about 22 C and humidity is 80-85%. Mushrooms do not like excessive humidity and hot weather. In warm, but not hot weather, they grow faster than in cold weather. There is a significant increase in fungal growth after warm, quiet rains and the appearance of fogs. Low air humidity and dry soil cause their growth to stop. This also occurs as a result of infection of the fruiting bodies by mosquito and fly larvae.

The fastest growth of fruiting bodies is observed in the first days. For example, in the first days, boletus can increase by 4-5 cm per day with a relatively small increase in weight. However, in most cases, the increase in height is much smaller and averages 1-1.5 cm per day. The growth of mushrooms in height stops 1-2 days earlier than the growth of the cap. The latter grows along the edge, so it often turns out that the edges are overgrown with foreign objects or two specimens grow together.

Fruiting bodies grow faster in rainy and warm weather. In autumn, growth can sometimes last up to a month.

After the formation of spores, the fruiting bodies of mushrooms age very quickly. True, autumn mushrooms are hard and can be stored for a relatively long time in cool weather.

Mushroom stories / do mushrooms grow fast?

The first time I saw how quickly mushrooms can grow was many years ago in Bulduri, a small village near Riga. It was in August. In the courtyard of the house where we rented a room, clothes were constantly drying on a line between the trees. The ground in this place was constantly wet, especially under the nearby bench. One day I noticed that the caps of several russula appeared from under the ground next to the bench. The next day, these were already “adult” mushrooms with greenish caps about five centimeters in diameter, and the next generation also appeared. After about a day, the growth of the mushrooms stopped, and new russula no longer appeared. And by the end of the week the whole family looked rather pitiful, the mushroom life was clearly coming to an end.

I acquired a much more thorough “mushroom” experience in the village of Mordasy in the north of the Tver region, where I have been spending my summer holidays for fourteen years. Of course, I know the surrounding forests very well, and I have my favorite mushroom places. The best of them, with beautiful boletus, are at the forks of old forest roads, abandoned many years ago.

It is difficult to describe the beauty of these places. To somehow compensate for the literary poverty of my story, I suggest looking at a few photographs:

When I live in the village, I go to the forest almost every day, always early in the morning, and usually every other day I explore my favorite protected places. In recent years, I sometimes take a camera with me into the forest to capture the most attractive or unusual mushrooms. True, I don’t do this often because of the abundance of mushrooms: a basket of mushrooms and a heavy camera are not compatible :):

Now I can quite confidently determine the “age” of porcini mushrooms: very small, five to six centimeters high, in good mushroom weather they grow in less than a day, in two days white mushrooms become large and mature, and already on the third or fourth day they have a green “beard” . Interestingly, there are myceliums that regularly produce “twins.” By the way, by the structure of white and boletus mushrooms and by the shades of their caps, I can quite reliably determine in which part of our forest these mushrooms are collected :).

According to my observations, boletus grows even faster than white ones, but their life is short. Chanterelles, on the contrary, grow relatively slowly and, already large, can stand for a very long time, even for weeks. In clearings in remote places, I had to find large circles with a diameter of more than two meters, densely planted with chanterelles from one mycelium. The spectacle is wonderful! Alas, I didn’t have a camera with me at that time.

But now I want to tell you about a completely amazing case. Once, while picking mushrooms in such a special place, where boletuses have not only bright caps, but also red “stubble” on their legs, I saw a group of yellow mushrooms, clearly inedible, but quite cute. I regretted that I did not take a camera with me. I ended up in this same place (it’s quite far from home) about a week later, already with a camera, and unexpectedly I saw the same mushrooms (they grew in the middle of the old road and were very noticeable). They grew quite a bit and did not suffer at all, while the aspen trees growing nearby were in a deplorable state. Here is a photo of these mushrooms:

At the end of August, almost a month after the first meeting with the “yellow” family, I visited them again and made sure that they continued to live and thrive. New mushrooms have appeared, but these have become noticeably larger. And no damage! I thought then that these mushrooms were probably very poisonous. It is no coincidence that the worms do not touch them.

Upon returning home, I sent this photo to Vyacheslav Stepanov (http://mycoweb.narod.ru/fungi/index.html), and he identified the “yellows” as the deadly poisonous Pholiotaflammans. So my guess about the reason for the long life of the “yellow family” turned out to be correct. My other photographs of mushrooms, not only poisonous ones, can be found on that website, as well as at http://mycoweb.narod.ru/fungi/Submitted/LD_Photo.html?1.

I hope that the secret of mushroom longevity does not apply to people :).

Mushroom growth » gifts of the forest

Perhaps none of the plants widely used by humans for food grows as quickly to a ripe state as a mushroom. Hence the expression “grows like a mushroom.” However, in the minds of mushroom pickers, the growth rate of mushrooms is usually exaggerated. This happens because some of the mushrooms go unnoticed during collection. When visiting the site again after a day or two, mushroom pickers find mushrooms of considerable size.

Cap mushrooms grow very quickly. Over the course of one, several days, and even part of a day, porcini mushrooms, aspen mushrooms and boletus mushrooms significantly increase in size. Most mushrooms grow to medium size in 3-6 days. Under favorable weather conditions, boletus, boletus, and russula can be collected within a day or even a night after they appear on the soil surface.

The fact is that the fruiting bodies of the most famous cap mushrooms first form underground, grow there for a long time and emerge almost fully formed to the surface. However, even after this, their growth until full ripening can continue for 8-12 days. Infection with fly and mosquito larvae slows down or stops the growth of mushrooms. During the day, the mushrooms grow by an average of 1-1.5 centimeters in the total height and diameter of the cap. But even among mushrooms of the same species, for example, boletus, the daily growth ranges from 3 millimeters to 3 centimeters, which is due to their individual characteristics and condition.

In the first 5-8 days, the growth of the mushroom, both in total height and in diameter of the cap, occurs quite evenly. The growth of mushrooms in height stops one to two days earlier than the growth of the cap in diameter. A day after growth stops, the mushroom is destroyed. Some argue that there is no significant difference in the growth rate of mushrooms at night and during the day. Sometimes there is a noticeable increase in fungal growth after precipitation. And yet, mushrooms appear to grow most at night. You walk through the forest in the evening - there are no mushrooms, it’s empty. And in the morning, the young mushrooms are right there, asking to be put in the basket. So light has little effect on the development of mushrooms, because the mushroom is a child of the shadow.

In the summer-autumn period, the average weight of fresh mushrooms on the fourth day of their growth is expressed by the following values: porcini mushroom - 160 grams, boletus - 74, boletus - 45, oiler - 35, moss - 33, chanterelle and goat - 9, milk mushroom - 79 , volushka-17, russula-12 grams. In which forests are the conditions most favorable for mushroom growth? Some argue that mushrooms grow better in young forests, in which the mycelium filaments get along better with young, small, soft-barked tree roots. These roots are located in the top layer of soil and are accessible to fungi. In older trees, the roots are located deep in the ground, so they are less accessible to the mycelium. The practice of mushroom pickers confirms the opposite. There are fewer mushrooms in young forests than in old ones.

The first porcini mushrooms, aspen mushrooms, boletus mushrooms, boletus mushrooms and others, as a rule, appear on large trees and most often in the immediate vicinity of them, where there are significantly fewer young, small roots at the soil surface. At the same time, these mushrooms are almost impossible to detect in young forests. Somewhat later, approximately in the second half of August - early September, mushrooms grow relatively evenly in both forests. At the end of the season, mushrooms are again found more in old forests than in young ones. The only exceptions are boletus and saffron milk caps, which grow better in young growth and on the edges.

The collector is sometimes struck by the unevenness of the mushroom harvest, that they seem to “wander” from one place to another, from one forest to another. This is explained by changes in fungal growth factors. For example, dry, hot weather set in, and there were almost no mushrooms in the elevated, dry places, but in the lower areas of the forest, where excess moisture from the soil evaporated, mushrooms appeared as if by magic. Therefore, mushrooms cannot tolerate either excessive dampness or dryness.

At optimal temperature and soil moisture, porcini mushrooms ripen in 5-9 days.

In 5 days, a porcini mushroom can grow up to 9 cm. This is not the fastest growth rate.

People have noticed that when it is damp and warm, mushrooms “scatter” across the clearings, and when it is dry and hot, they “gather” under the trees.

9 months ago

In summer, when the weather is warm and humid, they grow faster, in autumn in October, more slowly.

One summer I found a very small white mushroom. I didn’t cut it off, I covered it with a leaf. A week later I came to this place, he was already big and overgrown.

This means that the mushroom grows very quickly under good conditions, several cm per day.

Most mushrooms grow to medium size on the 3rd - 6th day, and they live from the moment they appear on the surface until they rot and decompose for 10 - 14 days. This fragility is typical mainly for mushrooms with juicy fruiting bodies. Mushrooms with dry pulp take a little longer to grow. Under optimal conditions, in 5 days, the boletus grows up to 12 cm, the porcini mushroom - up to 9, the valui and boletus - up to 7, the honey mushroom - up to 6 and the chanterelle - up to 4 cm. The growth of mushrooms in height stops 1 - 2 days earlier than the growth caps, then the cap grows along the edge.

The growth rate of the stem and cap of mushrooms is different. Thus, on the second day, the height of the autumn honey fungus reaches 5 cm, and the diameter of the cap is only 2 cm. On the fifth day, the mushroom rises to a height of 6, and the cap barely reaches 3 cm. By the seventh day, the cap develops faster than the stem and on the tenth day its diameter reaches 7 or 10 cm, and the height of the leg is 9, sometimes 15 cm.

At optimal air temperature, soil temperature and humidity, mushrooms such as russula, boletus, boletus, can reach full maturity within three days after appearing on the surface of the earth. Porcini mushrooms ripen on the 5th - 9th day, boletus - on the 7th. Chanterelles and honey mushrooms grow more slowly. When mature, the spores spill out and give birth to new generations. Mushrooms can also reproduce from pieces of mycelium. For example, champignons and oyster mushrooms are bred.

Warmth and moisture promote rapid growth of mushrooms. A high yield of edible mushrooms is preceded by a period of frequent but light rains at a moderate air temperature of 18 - 20 C. With changes in humidity and temperature conditions, the place where mushrooms appear also changes. Under optimal climatic conditions, mushrooms grow everywhere in the forest. During periods of soil waterlogging, they are more often found in open forest areas, small hills and elevated slopes, and during periods of drought - in low places. People have noticed: when it’s hot and dry, mushrooms gather under the trees; when it’s damp and warm, they scatter across the clearings.

Mushroom season has begun, and lovers of quiet hunting are rushing into the forest. And not only because others will get ahead of them, but also because mushrooms do not live long. I didn’t have time to collect them in time, and they already grew old and collapsed, and all kinds of insects and birds helped them with this.

It grows very quickly. From the moment the bud appears until the final maturation of the so-called fruiting body, 10 to 14 days pass. The exact time depends on the type of mushroom, temperature and humidity of the air and soil.

Why so fast? As you know, the fungus develops from mycelium, which grows in spring, summer, and autumn. So, in this mycelium young fruiting bodies are formed, scientifically called primordia. As soon as the weather becomes favorable, they begin to quickly develop and elongate.

The mushroom reaches medium size within 3-6 days. Mushroom growth occurs most rapidly during the warm period, when it rains and fogs form. But the humidity should not be very high, nor should the temperature be too low or too hot. Temperature differences are good for rapid growth of mushrooms.

The question “how long do mushrooms grow after rain” cannot be given a definite answer. Mushrooms do not always appear after precipitation. Because high humidity alone is not enough for them. When it is warm and humid, the mycelium develops well.
And the growth of the mushrooms themselves is promoted by lower temperatures. For example, a temperature of about 25 degrees is considered favorable for champignon mycelium, and 18-20 degrees is good for the growth of the fruiting body.

Longer than wide

So how long does a mushroom grow? It turns out that some mushrooms, such as russula, boletus and boletus, can be collected literally the next day after they crawled to the surface of the earth. Because their fruiting bodies first grow underground and come to the surface almost fully formed. How long does a mushroom grow after it emerges from the ground? It varies depending on the variety. There are gigantic mushrooms that can grow half a meter per hour. But on average, mushrooms grow by 1-1.5 centimeters per day. In addition, if in the first 5-8 days they grow almost equally in both the height of the stem and the width of the cap, then in the last days the overall growth of the mushroom stops, and the diameter of the cap continues to increase.

How long does the porcini mushroom grow?

On the surface of the earth, mushrooms, depending on the species, live from 10 to 12 or 14 days. The porcini mushroom, like boletus and boletus, lives for 11 days. Boletus, chanterelle, and honey fungus are good for collecting within 10 days. Morels and strings spoil the fastest - in 6 days. But saffron milk caps, milk mushrooms, and oyster mushrooms will wait for the mushroom picker for 12 days.

It is also known about the porcini mushroom that after five days, under favorable conditions, it reaches an average of 9 centimeters in height, and its weight these days increases per day by an average of 40 grams.

So how long a mushroom grows depends on its type, temperature and humidity. But as soon as the growth of the fungus stops, literally within a day it will begin to collapse. However, this only means one thing: his disputes are ripe. A variety of insects, birds and animals will quickly spread them across the ground and promote the germination of new mushrooms.

The life cycle of cilia has 3 phases:

  • anagen is a phase of active growth that lasts from 2 to 6 weeks;
  • catagen - a phase of slow growth, or measured rest, lasting from 4 to 6 weeks (during this period the natural length of the hairs decreases);
  • Anagen is a resting phase that lasts about 3 months, then the eyelash falls out and a new one begins to grow in its place.

Phases of eyelash growth

The new eyelash does not grow too quickly. On average, its length increases by 0.4−0.7 mm per month. Its lifespan ranges from 70 to 200 days.

To make your eyelashes beautiful, you use various products and tools every day. But this is just a drop in the bucket compared to what artificial extensions do to them. After the procedure, the hairs become dull, thin and grow slowly.

What else can affect eyelash growth?

    Incorrect care. If you don’t like to remove makeup from your face, in particular mascara from your eyelashes, then it’s unlikely that your look will captivate men.

    Stress and frequent emotional shocks.

    Diseases of internal organs.

    Regular use of curling irons.

    Use of low-quality cosmetics.

    Negative environmental influences.

    Improper and irrational nutrition.

    Individual characteristics of the body.

Buy decorative eyelashes only after familiarizing yourself with the composition of the product.

Here are the components that must be present in the mascara:

    Proteins. This component is added to help hair grow faster. Most often, manufacturers of high-quality carcasses use wheat germ proteins in their products.

    Panthenol. Prevents eyelash fragility and strengthens their structure.

    Melanin. Provides protection from external influences.

    Keratin. Strengthens hairs, covering each of them with a protective film.

    UV blockers. Protects eyelashes from exposure to ultraviolet radiation.

    Vitamins. A, E, F, B5 are considered the most useful for eyelashes. These vitamins provide hair with nutrition, strengthening from the roots, stimulate growth, and make it elastic.

    Castor oil. Strengthens eyelashes, eliminates inflammation. Read more in the article about the properties of castor oil and how to use it.

    Lanolin. Resists fragility and dryness of eyelashes.

    Preservatives. That dangerous word you're afraid to see on food packaging actually doesn't mean anything bad for your eyelashes. Typically, manufacturers of high-quality cosmetics add glycerin and benzalkonium chloride to their products. These components prevent foreign microorganisms from multiplying in the carcass.

It doesn’t matter if some of these substances are not found in your favorite eyelash product. You can always add them yourself. Buy oil-based retinol, or vitamin A, vitamin E at the pharmacy and add 1-2 drops to your mascara. You can do the same with castor oil.

Provide proper care to your eyelashes if you want them to be thick and long.

Here are some useful tips:

    Massage your eyelids 1-2 times daily. Yes, yes, they also need to be looked after. Manipulation by lightly tapping your fingers on the eyelids will ensure blood flow to the hair follicles and accelerate their growth. It’s great if you use different oils during the massage.

    If you have health problems, then get rid of them immediately.

    Include more plant and dairy products in your nutritional diet. Avoid fatty, fried, sweet, salty and spicy foods, reduce the consumption of animal fats. Drink more water.

If you want your eyelashes to grow faster, you need to go to the pharmacy and buy peach, almond and sea buckthorn oils. Apply 1 drop of one or another oil to your index fingers every day. Massage your eyelid for 2-3 minutes.

You can add these products to your mascara. 3 drops of one of them, or 1 of each, is enough. It will also be useful to take a special eyelash brush, or an old mascara brush (just rinse it thoroughly), and soak them in the indicated oils.

Castor oil is ideal for accelerating the growth rate of eyelashes. Gently rub it into your hair or apply it with a brush. Exposure time - 1 hour. After this, rinse the product thoroughly.

Do not overexpose, so as not to provoke inflammation of the eyelids.

There are also store-bought products that promote hair growth. However, you do not need to use them constantly, otherwise your eyelashes will become brittle and thin.

Usually, after the eyelash extension procedure, eyelashes don’t look very good, to put it mildly. So you need to do everything to help them. Here are some useful tips:

    Not three eyes. In general, try to touch your eyelashes as little as possible. This way they will recover and rest faster.

    In the first 1-2 weeks after extensions, do not apply mascara to your eyelashes.

    The next extension procedure should be carried out no earlier than after 1 month. This time will be enough for the eyelashes to recover and rest.

    Be sure to remove makeup at night, preferably with soft, natural-based products.

For even more tips, see the article How to restore eyelashes after extensions.

Recipes for masks to restore and accelerate growth

Don't forget to use the previously suggested oils. Such masks will be useful.

Almond, peach and castor oil mask

    Heat peach, almond and castor oils in a water bath.

    Add to them 1-2 drops of vitamin A, E on an oily basis.

    Apply to eyelashes once a day, daily.

Pour the mixture into a glass jar and store in the refrigerator.

Mask of aloe, burdock oil and vitamins

Here is another useful mask that will help your eyelashes grow faster.

    Take castor oil, aloe juice, vitamin E, burdock oil.

    Mix the ingredients in equal quantities and add 3 drops of oil-based vitamin to them.

    Apply to eyelashes for half an hour.

Remove with a napkin.

Secondly, it is at this time that you most look like a person who is simply too lazy to shave. In some groups, such people are looked at askance. And they often ask: well, are you growing a beard? 8. How long does it take for a “normal” beard to grow?

It’s different for everyone - the speed is influenced by a huge number of factors: from genetics to the time of year. There is, for example, a study that shows that British men grow beards faster in the summer months than in the winter months. But, as a rule, a beard becomes a beard in two to three months. Judging by the videos where people don’t shave and take pictures every day, in six months a beard can grow simply luxurious.

9. Is there any way to speed up beard growth?

Many different instructions have been written about this. If we summarize them, we can draw several conclusions. Wash or at least rinse your stubble or beard often, depending on how far you've achieved it. You can buy special beard shampoos in barbershops. Don't forget about vitamins. Eat healthy. Play sports.

Calm down. This happens to everyone. Set a rule: if you want to shave your beard, wait a day and only then shave. Never make this decision while depressed or under the influence of alcohol.

How long does it take and how does a beard grow in men?

“Moscow was not built in a day,” says a famous Russian proverb. Gradual, progressive development is also characteristic of the beard. Facial hair doesn't just appear out of nowhere in its best form, and when growing a beard, every man has to go through several stages of its growth.

Let's learn about them, as well as at what speed the hair on a man's face generally grows.

How long does it take for men to grow a beard?

So, having decided to acquire brutal facial hair, putting the razor away and being patient, the man begins to grow a beard and wait for hair to appear on his face. The very next day after shaving, the skin becomes rough to the touch, because in a fairly short time it appears on the face. The very first stage of beard growth is stubble.

The time it takes for stubble to grow is associated with many factors, the main ones being heredity and metabolic characteristics.

Very few men can afford not to shave for three or four days, because in most cases, growing hairs appear on the face the very next day. On the second day, the stubble grows and becomes noticeable, especially if the hair is dark in color, so usually men shave once every two days, and sometimes more often.

The border between stubble and a short beard is usually drawn along the length of the hairs, 3-5 millimeters.

Typically, hair reaches this length after a week has passed since the last shave. Week-long stubble often looks quite untidy, but at the same time she can seem brutal and daring. Women often like this kind of hair, and it’s not for nothing that a face covered in a week’s worth of stubble is one of the cinematic cliches of “bad boys.”

In the following weeks, the long stubble continues to actively grow and form a beard, but the process is still very far from being completed. First time a growing beard will look thin and generally unaesthetic. And this is absolutely normal, because it takes a lot of time to achieve natural thickness and fullness.

This is due to the fact that different hair grows at different rates. Even if you have already grown a five-millimeter stubble, many hair follicles may still be “sleeping”; they are activated a little later.

After waiting a month, you can already draw conclusions about the pattern of hair growth on your face. If by this time the “dormant” hair follicles have sprouted and added thickness to your beard, you can rest assured that everything is going according to plan. If your hair is not thick enough, you should think about accelerating its growth (more on this later).

During the second month of regrowth, hair continues to grow. Long hairs cover small empty areas and overlap each other, as a result of which the beard even visually appears thicker. The hair of the previously dormant follicles quickly catches up with lost time and acquires a sufficiently large length, due to which The thickness of the beard can almost double during the second month.

For this reason during the first two months it is not recommended to cut, trim or shape the beard, after all, it has not yet reached its maximum density, and such adjustments will not bring the desired result.

Once the beard reaches maximum thickness, all that remains is to wait for the hair to grow to the required length. If you prefer short beards, then at this stage you can already begin to design your facial hair in the desired form.

An expert talks about how to grow a beard.

Stages of facial hair growth

The entire process of overgrowing a man’s face with hair can be divided into several stages. Each of them has its own characteristics of the appearance of a growing beard and specific requirements for hair and skin care.

The ends of the hair are quite sharp after recently being cut with a razor.

During this period, you should once again think about your intentions. If you're serious about growing a beard, put away the razor and instead arm yourself with patience.

  • 2-3 weeks. Brutal weekly stubble becomes longer. Now the hair is not perpendicular to the skin, but almost parallel. The sharp tips of the hairs touch the skin and irritate it; in addition, without regularly removing the upper layers of the epidermis with a razor, the condition of the skin changes.

    Together, these two factors often cause severe itching. It is often at this stage that many men give up the idea of growing a beard. The most purposeful people persevere.

    At this stage, there are still “dormant” hair follicles, the length of the hairs is short, so the beard grows unevenly and has a thin, unkempt and unkempt appearance.

  • By 4 weeks, or by 1 month from the moment the beard begins to grow, it will begin to gain thickness due to the growth of new hairs and the lengthening of old ones. The itching usually goes away by this time, and the skin gets used to the new condition.

    Care during the first month mainly consists of using cleansing and soothing facial products. The skin requires increased attention in terms of hygiene, so do not neglect daily washing with special gels or lotions. You should not correct your beard at this stage - first you need to let the “lagging” hair grow in order for natural thickness to appear.

  • 2 months. By this moment, all the hair on the face is actively growing, the beard is growing in length, and its density has reached its maximum and no longer changes. Now you can take up the machine and trimmer to trim your beard, adjust its shape and define contours.

    However, if you want to have not just a beard, but a really long beard, you should grow your hair further. The care procedures at this stage include periodic washing of the beard with a special shampoo, as well as the use of oils and other emollients.

  • 3-4 months. The beard is getting longer, so now it is necessary to comb it daily with a comb so that the hair does not get tangled and does not stick out to the sides. A long beard takes longer and is more difficult to dry naturally, and after washing it must be dried with a hairdryer.

    The air stream should always go from bottom to top, so you can give the hair on your face fullness and volume. The length that grows after four months is enough to style most beards, such as a skipper beard, a long goatee or a decent ducktail.

  • 5 months – 1 year. If you are a fan of long, extravagant beards in the style of ZZ Top, then it is quite possible to grow a beard for as long as you like, even several years. True, with the length of the vegetation, the difficulty of caring for it also increases.

    Now, in order not to look like a shipwreck victim, you will have to constantly adjust the length of individual hairs sticking out to the sides, wax your beard, and regularly comb your beard throughout the day. It is worth noting that such a long beard will be an excellent evidence not only of extraordinary taste, but also of the remarkable willpower and patience of its owner.

    2. You can use different exercises to enlarge your penis.
    3. And, of course, the surgical route is the most dangerous.

    Plus sizes for you, friends!

    Is it possible to speed up the process?

    Sometimes it happens that after one month the beard is still as sparse and uneven as it was at two weeks. In such a situation, we can say that the condition of the hair does not correspond to the desired stage of growth. It is quite possible to think about accelerating the growth of facial hair.

    • To start, think: is everything going smoothly in your life? Yes, yes, because stress and poor emotional state are the most common causes of slow hair growth. Try to avoid nervous stress, get more rest, relax in your free time. Avoid lack of sleep. Often, normalization of the psycho-emotional state alone is enough for the beard to begin to grow rapidly.
    • Balance your diet. Hair consists of the protein substance keratin, and the sebum that lubricates it is of a lipid nature, so a deficiency of proteins and fats in the diet should not be allowed.
    • Eliminate skin problems. Acne, dermatitis and other skin diseases can also significantly slow down facial hair growth. Unfortunately, it is quite difficult to treat these diseases under the hair, so the best solution is to shave off the regrown stubble and re-grow it after the problems are eliminated.
    • To enhance the effect You can turn to various auxiliary products that enhance hair growth. In folk medicine, onion juice and locally irritating masks based on mustard powder or red pepper are often used for these purposes (the main thing is not to overdo it and do not cause the skin to burn).

    Conclusion

    Growing a good beard is a fairly lengthy process, and you can’t do it without patience. The main thing is to clearly set a goal for yourself and persistently strive to achieve it, and then in a couple of months you will be able to transform your appearance beyond recognition, introducing such a masculine element as a beard into your style.

    How long does it take for a beard to grow: and what affects its growth?

    For some men, growing a beard is a simple task that can be accomplished within 2-4 weeks, while for others it is a long-term and labor-intensive process. Much depends in this matter on the genetic predisposition of the man, his heredity and hormonal levels. But, one way or another, the fashion for a beard has swept men all over the world; many show business stars now do not go out of their way with their facial hair.

    In connection with such trends, the question arose of how long the beard grows among newcomers, that is, men who have not worn a mustache or beard until this time. In fact, no one can answer this question accurately, since the time frame is influenced by many factors at once. In addition, the rate of beard growth depends on the individual characteristics of each man’s body, and experts can only make predictions.

    Beard growth

    Despite the influencing factors and characteristics of a man’s body, on average it is quite possible to determine how long it takes to grow a normal beard. Experts call the period 1.5-2 months, exactly the same amount of time you will need to forget about the razor and blade in order to get the desired result in the form of a thick and long beard. There are a number of factors that a man can influence, but there are also unshakable and unchangeable factors on which the growth of stubble depends.

    Main growth factors

    To understand how to grow a normal beard, a man needs to know a list of factors that directly determine the speed of beard growth, its shade, thickness, uniform and full growth. Experts name several such factors, namely:

    1. Hormonal background. The sex hormone testosterone is responsible for the growth of hair on the head and body. The peak of this hormone occurs during puberty at the age of 14-18, when stubble and mustache first begin to appear. In the future, it is important to maintain the level of this hormone so that the beard grows equally quickly and thickly.
    2. Genetics. If there were no men in the family with a thick and luxurious beard, it is unlikely that the situation will change dramatically in subsequent generations. Unfortunately, there are no effective methods against genetics, so many men will have to put up with it.
    3. Nationality. There are some nations that are characterized by an early and rapidly growing beard, while other nations do not have a beard at all. Northern peoples, the Japanese and the Chinese do not wear beards, but among men of the eastern nation, hair begins to grow almost from the age of 11.
    4. Infectious diseases. Skin diseases accompanied by damage from pathogenic flora can provoke beard and mustache hair loss. Consultation with a dermatologist and trichologist is necessary.
    5. Physical exercise. The concentration of testosterone directly depends on a man’s mobility, so a sedentary lifestyle and excess weight reduce it, and accordingly, beard growth slows down.
    6. Sexual activity. The determining factor in how long it takes for a beard to grow can also be sexual activity. Sexual relations should be stable and moderate, so as not to fluctuate the level of testosterone in the body.
    7. Bad habits. All toxic substances that a man receives through alcoholic beverages and smoking accumulate in the hair follicles. This is especially true for adolescents whose follicles are just developing and going through the activation stage.
    8. Psycho-emotional background. Any stress, depression, neurosis and insomnia affect hair growth, so you should avoid such circumstances. Only positive emotions, good mood and rest will help improve stubble growth.

    Particular attention should be paid to nutrition, since vitamin deficiency also leads to slower beard growth. The majority of your diet should be devoted to protein foods, as well as vegetables and fruits. During the off-season and vitamin deficiency, you need to take a complex of men's vitamins and minerals, as well as strengthen the immune system.

    What should you not do?

    You should not expect beard growth if a man is at the stage of puberty, when hormonal levels fluctuate. Doctors prohibit interfering with the hormonal system with drugs and other medicinal methods of increasing testosterone at this time. You should also not use cosmetic products to stimulate beard growth until the stubble begins to grow on its own.

    Experts do not recommend shaving off the first stubble; this process should be postponed. It will take about 4-8 weeks for your stubble to grow, if not more. During this period of time, it will only be possible to shave the hair on the neck to the level of the Adam’s apple. It is better to stimulate the growth of stubble using natural means, and it is also important to shaving the stubble correctly, otherwise ingrown hairs will appear.

    Day, week, month, but only 2 cm: what to do?

    How long it takes for a beard to grow may vary for each man. But experts specify that on average, after 1.5-2 months, the beard should grow to such a length that it can be modeled and cut. If beard growth does not occur after a week or a month, a man needs special care to stimulate the growth of hair follicles.

    Alternative medicine offers several options for masks for beard growth:

    1. Mix burdock and castor oil, warm it up a little, and then apply it to dry and clean facial skin along the beard growth line. You need to wash off the oil after 1-3 hours with soap and warm water.
    2. You can add a little mustard powder or red pepper to the base oil and then apply it to dry and clean facial skin. Apply the mask onto the facial skin using rubbing movements, leave for 15-30 minutes and rinse off.
    3. Eucalyptus oil. This oil is also rubbed into the skin of the face and left for a while. Before this, rub the oil in your palms to warm it up.

    Among the ready-made products for stimulating beard growth, it is worth highlighting Alerana and Generolon spray, which are sold in any branch of the pharmacy, as well as Minoxidil Kirkland or Rogaine, such imported drugs can be ordered online.

    Degrees of growth

    You can track the degree of hair growth along the beard line in order to calculate for the future the period of time during which the beard and mustache grows. If you know the stages of beard growth, then you can predict beard growth by day and upcoming events.

    • Stage one - stubble. It takes about a month for stubble to grow, a man will experience itching, dry skin and irritation. You need to use oils, beard shampoos, and skin moisturizing creams. You should avoid cutting, shaving, and trimming with scissors.
    • Stage two - two-month beard. By the second month of growing a beard, the stubble on your face will require trimming so that the hairs do not become curly or bristly.
    • Stage three - three-month beard. At this stage, you can determine how long it takes to grow the maximum beard length. The longer the beard, the more care it will require. At this stage, you can choose the desired shape and type of beard, model it in a barbershop or yourself.

    Thus, you can understand that it takes 1 month to grow stubble (a 1 cm beard), then the growth of the beard over weeks leads to the appearance of a short length of hair, and after 3 months a long beard will appear. By week, about 4-8 weeks will be needed to model a short or medium length beard, and for a long thick beard it will take at least 3 months.

    Does beard growth depend on the time of year?

    It is actually possible to say that in men the degree of beard growth can vary depending on the seasons. Despite the fact that doctors name completely different influencing factors, in practice the situation is different. It is known that in the autumn and winter periods of the year, a man’s body suffers from a deficiency of vitamins and a depressed state against the background of frequent colds and viruses, cloudy weather and a lack of vitamin D3 from the sun.

    Accordingly, all this indirectly affects beard growth. Hair can be thin and weak, brittle and fall out. In this regard, experts advise taking complex multivitamins and mineral supplements to compensate for the deficiency of vitamins A, E, C and all B vitamins, as well as substances such as magnesium, calcium, iron, zinc, phosphorus. In the spring, there is a rise in hormonal levels, and in the summer the body receives resources from fresh berries, fruits and vegetables.

    A man should know approximately how long he needs to go without shaving to grow a beard. For a healthy man with normal hormonal levels, this takes from 1 to 3 months, it all depends on the desired length of future facial hair and other influencing factors. Endocrinologists do not recommend using hormonal drugs to accelerate beard growth, since there are many alternative methods of stimulation. The best are oil masks and finished cosmetic products.

    Any man at the age when puberty has already occurred can grow a beard. How long it will take to grow a beard can be judged by the family branch and genetic characteristics in the family. On average, this takes from 1 to 3 months if the man eats well and leads an active and healthy lifestyle. A trichologist can tell you how to grow a normal beard, as well as many recipes for alternative medicine.

    • season;

However, this will have a positive effect not only on the growth of curls, but also on overall health.

    and they constantly form new cells, which during the year form what are called annual rings or annual growth rings. These growth rings indicate the amount of wood grown during one growing season. And according to recent research by ecologists, the overall growth rate of most tree species only increases with age. However, regarding the rate of growth in height, a slightly different principle applies. It should be noted that tree growth speed can be increased with proper care, information about this can be found in the article.

    Typically, living things, including us, have a period of active growth when they are young, but as they age, growth the body slows down or stops altogether. The growth rate of trees in height has the same character. After a period of active growth in height, the growth rate of the tree decreases, and it begins to gain weight due to the trunk and side shoots. The figure shows the general nature of the relationship between the height of most trees and its age. The schedule is divided into three phases. 1 is the initial phase of slow growth, followed by a phase of rapid growth - 2. When the tree approaches a certain height, the growth rate drops - phase 3. Of course, time and height values will vary for each individual tree depending on the species and environmental conditions.

    The general nature of the dependence of the height of most trees on age

    Different types of trees grow at different rates. Depending on the growth rate, trees are usually divided into groups. In tables 1 and 2, trees are divided into groups depending on the tree's growth rate per year. Trees gain such growth rates during the active phase (between the ages of 10 and 30 years).

    Tree mass growth rate

    It was previously thought that large trees were less efficient at sequestering carbon dioxide. However, recently, on January 15, 2014, research data showing the opposite was published in the journal Nature. The study was conducted by a team of international scientists led by Nate L. Stephenson of the Western Ecological Research Center.

    The scientists reviewed records from studies conducted on six continents, collected over the past 80-plus years, and based their conclusions on repeated measurements of 673,046 individual trees.

    “Large, old trees act not just as aging carbon reservoirs, but also actively sequester large amounts of carbon compared to small trees... In some situations, one large tree can add as much carbon to the forest mass in a year as is contained in an entire medium-sized tree "

    The main problem is the perception of scale. Stevenson says it's difficult to see a large tree grow because it's already huge. Thickness with age the tree gains less, but the larger the diameter, the more surface area it grows. A tree can grow in height for many years, but at a certain point it reaches its peak and then begins to increase in trunk diameter, increasing the number of branches and leaves.

    The researchers write:
    “It is likely that rapid growth of giant trees is the global norm and can exceed 600 kg per year in the largest specimens.”

    Stevenson also says that if people grew at this rate, they could weigh half a ton at middle age, and well over a ton by retirement.

    The figure shows the general nature of the dependence of the growth rate of tree mass on the decimal logarithm of tree mass, given in the materials of the article.

    As a result of human activity and other reasons, huge areas of ancient forests are being destroyed. . Trees play a very important role in existing ecosystems, so it is vital for us to protect forests from destruction.
